My key blade has snapped away from the remote but the remote still works. Can this be fixed?
If your key blade has snapped off from your remote fob but you still have both pieces, it's likely we can re-shell your existing remote and cut a new blade for it by copying the original.
This is a common issue, particularly with remote keys from VW, Audi, Skoda, and a few other brands, as they often break where the key blade attaches to the fob.
The remote case has started to break on the buttons. Can you replace it?
Another common issue. Generally with a lot of Vauxhall remotes. Where the buttons are pressed over time, the casing will start to break away. Similar to the above issue , we can re-shell and cut a new blade for your key , making it look brand new.
How do i know if you can repair my key?
The best thing to do is to get in touch explaining the issue and sending a photo of the key to us. From there we can determine if it can be repaired, or whether you'll need an entirely new key cut and programmed.
